OMFG Bill Murray!!! This is from an article in Page Six Magazine about Bill Murray’s midlife crisis. Just…swoon.

 It was late one night, a few years ago, when a young man was walking through Union Square Park. He suddenly felt someone behind him, their hands over his eyes. When he turned in surprise, there was Bill Murray, his creased face leaning in close. Bill whispered, “No one is ever going to believe you,” and then just walked away.

Someone I’m Not Better Than- Lizard People

I decided this needed to happen twice this week. Why? Because how effing awesome is that picture?

For those of you who don’t obsessively follow Minnesota politics, Norm Coleman and Al Franken are currently in the middle of a recount. One of the disputed ballots contained a write in vote for Lizard People. MisterHippity, a lovely Gawker commenter, created this picture. By association, I guess that means I am not better than MisterHippity. I think I must be having a low self esteem week because between an ad agency, the entire race of Lizard People, and this MisterHippity fellow, that’s a whole bunch of people.

I’m still better than dolphins though.

Publicis in the West is the agency that made this ad. The penguin in this ad made me cry. Therefore, I am not better than Publicis in the West. Even though that’s kind of a silly name for an ad agency. Good work guys!!!

Someone I’m Not Better Than- Barney Bush

Say what you will about George Bush but Barney is an effing superstar. Seriously, I’ve always been anti-Bush but the above video made me genuinely love him for making it possible for that video to exist.

There are many reasons that I’m not better than Barney, like, I’ve never bitten a reporter. But mostly, Barney is the Obama of the dog world. They’re both black, and they both bring people together regardless of their political affiliation. Hell yeah Barney! I wish you and your wife Miss Beazley all the best. Someone I’m Not Better Than- Joe Biden

I’ve talked to a few people, and I’m really glad that I’m not the only one that has a Biden crush now. He kind of looks like Bill Clinton, and has pretty teeth, and is not Sarah Palin. Also, he didn’t read off of queue cards, didn’t wink at the audience, and almost made me cry. He came across as so damn sincere, which I think is admirable considering he was in a debate with live-action Peggy Hill, only instead of being a substitute teacher, she’s the substitute president. Also, he didn’t once say that Barrack Obama ‘tapped’ him.

So here’s to you, Senator O’Biden!

PS- Anytime McCain/Palin says Maverick, all I can think of is Mel Gibson. If that doesn’t get Obama the Jewish vote, nothing will.

Sarah Silverman is amazing. Once I was watching Jesus is Magic with my grandma and my cousin, and even my grandma found it amusing (right up until the Ethiopian baby part. That made her tell me stories about reading about black children in the 40s. My grandma is fantastic). Anyways, this is Sarah Silverman’s video that she made for TheGreatSchlep.com, urging you to talk to your grandparents about voting for Obama. This woman can do no wrong.

Someone I’m Not Better Than- Ricky Gervais

Oh Ricky… I don’t know why I find you so inexplicably attractive. You were pretty much the only funny thing at The Emmys, so kudos! Your few minutes were the only few minutes where I didn’t want to kill myself. I’m debating whether or not to see Ghost Town because of you. As much as I love you, I don’t think I can support the resurgence of the 80′s ghost comedy.

You’ve given us The Office, and Extras, Flanimals, and Seona Dancing. Also, your father was Canadian which means it is my duty as a Canadian to appreciate you more.
